Share trading information

The 2024 dates of the next Penrith Farmers’ and Kidd’s plc (PFK plc) Share Auctions are provisionally held for:

  • 25 June 2024
  • 26 November 2024

PFK plc hold the share auctions in Agricultural Hall, Skirsgill, Penrith, CA11 0DN at 1pm.

If you are considering selling or buying shares at a sale or require further information please contact Judith Mitchell or Andrew Green, Company Secretary on 01768 862323.

The auctions will be open to the public, however in order to comply with relevant FCA rules surrounding financial promotions for high risk investments (into which category Penrith Farmers’ and Kidd’s PLC shares fall), only those parties meeting eligibility criteria will be permitted to bid. This will mean that only pre-registered investors who meet the eligibility criteria will be permitted to bid.

Interested parties should contact either Judith Mitchell or Andrew Green to establish whether these criteria under the relevant legislation have been met. Bidding will be conducted either by attendance or by leaving commission bids.

It should be noted that investments in shares are for the long term and the value of your investment and the income derived from it can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you originally invested. If you are in any doubt about purchasing shares, you should consult an independent financial advisor authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

This financial promotion has been approved by SPARK Advisory Partners Limited (“SAPL”) under s21 of the Financial Services and Markets Act. SAPL is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. SAPL makes no recommendation as to the suitability of shares in PFK plc as an investment. Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high risk investment and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong.

Confirmation of the numbers of shares to be sold will be announced on the ‘news’ section of our investor’s website, two weeks in advance of each auction.

Whilst it be the intention that Penrith Farmers’ and Kidd’s PLC would not undertake private sales on behalf of shareholders in between auctions, this does not prevent shareholders making their own arrangements for private sales of their shares. However, transfers would still need to be registered with the company secretary and stamp duty paid accordingly.

For the Terms and Conditions relating to the share auctions, please see here.
